ChocFACE Edible Photograph Chocolates

Earlier this month I discovered ChocFACE, a new business created during lockdown.

What could be a better match than a collaboration combining both my favourite things chocolate and photography? Do you love chocolate? Here's how you can enjoy the delicious personalised Belgium chocolates too.

ChocFACE Edible Photograph Chocolates

ChocFACE creates delicious Belgian chocolate photos of your favourite images, presented in a gift box that fits through the letterbox. The ideal gift for a variety of occasions, or just letting someone know you are thinking of them.

I couldn't wait to upload my own photographs, experience the online ordering and wait excitedly to see the finished products. Oh, and to taste them too of course (wink).

The website is easy to use, the photographs uploaded quickly and ordering was a seamless process. After only a few days the package arrived.

Each square of chocolate is printed with edible inks and you can choose from ChocFACE’s curated collections, including Old Masters, Vintage Love, and Scottish Independence, or upload your own photos and create a box of chocolate photos entirely personal to you.

You can select all the chocolates to have the same printed image or select a variety of images. I already had an idea in mind and gave the box a name - Scottish Landmarks. This is printed alongside any message you may have and is presented inside the box.

ChocFACE uses edible colour on top of a white chocolate layer to create remarkable image resolution. This in turn sits on a thick Belgian milk chocolate base to create a deliciously tasty treat.

I was amazed to see the incredible quality of the printed image. The chocolates looked too good to eat!

With the good weather returning and restrictions opening up, you don't have to worry about being at home to receive the package.

Each box measures 7”x 5” (the size of a DVD box) and contains one large, printed chocolate slab and five smaller ones.

The chocolates are presented in a beautiful salmon red gift box. You can add a name to the box cover if desired, plus your personal message can be included on a gift card inside. They are also dispatched inside a red 100% recyclable bag.

ChocFACE was created during lockdown as a way to bring a smile to people’s faces and help us stay in touch with loved ones, even when we can’t be there in person. Each box fits through the letterbox, so there’s no need to travel to the Post Office to pick up your parcel.

ChocFACE is based in Orkney, and all the chocolates are printed by a small fourth-generation family business in Derbyshire.

Each ChocFACE box is £14.95 + pp and delivered first class via Royal Mail.
