The Isle of Canna
The Isle of Canna is the westernmost of the Small Isles archipelago, in the Scottish Inner Hebrides. A two-hour ferry journey from Mallaig. It is owned by the National Trust for Scotland, the island was gifted to the National Trust for Scotland in 1981 by Gaelic scholar John Lorne Campbell, who lived there with his wife Margaret Fay Shaw.
The current number of permanent residents on Canna is 15. Canna is home to the award-winning Café Canna, as well as its rich cultural heritage and over 1000 historic sites, the island is renowned for its seabirds; puffins, razorbills, and Manx shearwaters. There are also sea eagles and golden eagles.

Award-winning Café Canna is located on the shores of the Isle of Canna. A 10-minute walk away from the ferry terminal, specialising in local freshly caught fish and seafood. Gareth and Nic Cole have been the owners of Café Canna since April 2018.
