A few weeks ago Hamish and his team of coo-visors visited Fife, one of the 21 regions of Scotland. Fife has a number of great attractions and places to visit. On this day we visited the Scottish Deer Centre and Cairnie Fruit Farm. Here's what not to miss at these two family-friendly attractions!
A Family Day Out In Fife
The Scottish Deer Centre
The Scottish Deer Centre has 14 Deer species from around the world including Fallow and Reindeer. As well as Deer there are also Bears, Wolves, Lynx, Wildcats, Birds of Prey, and a Fox. Onsite there is also a play activity area, cafe, and gift shop.
Why not get up close and see some of the incredible Deer species and their habitats at the Scottish Deer Centre, on-board a tractor? A rare and fun opportunity for the whole family.
Cairnie Fruit Farm and Mega Maze
Cairnie Fruit Farm specialises in picking your own soft fruits such as raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants, and gooseberries. There is also a large playpark, trampolines, go-karts, mega maze, and gift shop/cafe.
2016 celebrates 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl the world's number one storyteller. Well known for his children's books such as The B.F.G, James and the Giant Peach, The Witches, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The 13th of September will see the biggest-ever global celebration of Roald Dahl's birthday. Why not join in and explore The B.F.G maze at Cairnie Fruit Farm?
I hope I have inspired you to visit these two family-friendly attractions. If you would like to find out more about Fife why not download the guide or pop into one of your local Visit Scotland iCentres? Happy Travels:) x
