Greenside's Eye Popping 20th Birthday Bash, Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025

This summer marks the 20th anniversary of Greenside at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The 2025 programme is packed with more entertaining, fun, and eye-popping events, including the new JAPANESE MUSICAL - SHOULDER PADS. A milestone that invites a moment of reflection, even amid the buzz of another packed August. One of the largest programmes at the festival, with over 200 productions taking place across Edinburgh at Greenside @ George Street and Greenside @ Riddle's Court.

The numbers have never told the full story. Greenside has been defined by over two decades by the incredible people who’ve helped build something that still feels rooted in that same energy, openness, and spirit that started it all. Greenside has been a place shaped by community. The venues have changed, the festival has grown, and the world around us looks very different—but what hasn’t changed is the Greenside's team commitment to creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where artists at every stage of their journey.
