theSpaceUK at Edinburgh Festival is back with a bang! Packed with plenty of new theatre, musicals, comedy, cabaret & more from both established and emerging talent. Celebrating its 30th year at the Fringe, theSpaceUK hosts the largest and most diverse programme at the festival. Companies, both professional & amateur, are given an affordable, supportive, and professional platform to showcase their work. Here is a taste of what you can expect this season, from the stellar showcase of performances taking place over 19 venues across 6 sites including: theSpace@Surgeons' Hall, theSpace@SymposiumHall, theSpace on the Mile, theSpaceTriplex, and the Space@Venue45.

Hosted by the incredible creative duo Xhloe and Natasha, back with a triple bill, And Then The Rodeo Burned Down, What If They Ate The Baby, and A Letter To Lyndon B Johnson Or God. Three award-winning shows written and performed by three-time consecutive Fringe First Award Winners 2022, 2023, and 2024!

Next up Sole To Sole (Dance) Takivan Damula Chuyouji, Wei-Wei Wu, and Chi-An Chen.

This piece merges the physical language of traditional Chinese opera with modern dance, transforming symbols like shoes and shopping bags into reflections of Chinese women's cultural transition from tradition to modernity.

Then transported back to the 1990s with When We Were Young (Theatre) Geez a Break Productions. This five-star production tells a powerful and hilarious story about the realities of gang culture and young team mentality in Glasgow during the 90s.
