Edinburgh Festival - Fringe 2022

This year celebrates 75 years of Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Can you believe it has been running since 1947? Two years after the end of World War II, eight theatre groups arrived in Edinburgh, organised venues, and ran alongside the Edinburgh International Festival. Today there are over 3000 shows taking place during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Assembly Gala (Assembly At The Fringe)

Each Year I love attending Assembly At The Fringe Gala. The Assembly Festival is one of the most recognisable brands and has earned a reputation for hosting top-tier Fringe performances.

This year celebrating its 40th anniversary it showcased;

  • Jon Culshaw - Les Dawson: Flying High

  • Muse

  • Beats on Pointe

  • Rouge

  • Love, Loss and Chianti (Robert Bathurst)

  • The Choir of Man

  • Danielle Walker: Nostalgia

  • Fascinating Aida

  • Wanderlust

  • Susie McCabe: Born Believer

  • Friendsical

Hosted by Reuben Kaye, it was brilliant!

You can check out all the performances taking place at the Assembly At The Fringe.
