Updated: Mar 14, 2023

You might have heard of GoPro but have you heard of Kaiser Baas? The Kaiser Baas X100 is a small camera, but can do many things! It has built-in Wifi, the option for both video and still, as well as capturing in 1080p which gives great results! Here's a little more about this easy-to-use action camera - Kaiser Baas X100.

Looking For An Action Camera?

Kaiser Baas

Known to be one of the world's top technology brands. I was excited to try out one of their action cameras, that was voted in the "10 Best Action Cameras Of 2016"

Getting Started

Inside the box comes almost everything you need to get started. The chest harness and micro SD comes separately. It can all be purchased from Amazon.

The instructions to set up are very easy to follow. The camera can take up to 5 hours to charge. This is best done via a computer or laptop with the USB connection provided. Once fully charged and switched on, make sure the battery symbol on the screen shows fully green.

If you would like to connect to your mobile phone download the easy-to-use app. Although it was specified to download the X100 app. It didn't work and so, downloaded the X150 app which works brilliantly (Something to keep in mind).

Video

The video is of good quality, and easy to use upon first use. Here is a little video I captured while experiencing Bridge 8 Hub Akwakat.

Overall it is a great wee camera to use. Lightweight and compact enough to store in a small pocket. Like any technology, once you familiarise yourself and get going it's a piece of cake. The only downside was the initial charging time and getting the app to work. I used an 8GB micro sim which had ample storage space.

I hope you found this useful. If you did, don't forget to share.

As always I would love to hear from you. If you have any comments/questions you can contact me via email www.enquiries@MDHardingTravelPhotography.com or connect with me on Facebook. Happy Travels:) x
