I love a good book and at this time of the year, I overindulge. The fire is on, I have one large mug of hot chocolate with the works and a good book. There is a cute little window in the living room of the cottage, which has a view of the garden. Oh, how I am grateful when it's raining cats and dogs.
Every year in Scotland is a themed year, the past two years we're Coast and Water's (due to Covid). This is the Year of Stories. What a brilliant theme! We are all said to have a book within us, what is yours? Oh, the stories I have heard on my travels. Oh my.
Did you know that 2022 is also the 25th anniversary of World Book Day? Also dates for your diary - Edinburgh International Book Festival will take place from 13-29 August 2022.
